A few simple rules to follow

Our rules exist to safeguard our fish and ensure that our customers have a pleasant stay.

Please read the rules carefully before fishing.

GENERAL RULES

  • The entrance gate must always be closed
  • Non-paying guests or visitors are not allowed
  • Dogs are allowed only after request
  • No drug use or excessive alcohol consumption
  • Please keep noise to a minimum, no loud music or shouting
  • Mandatory use of the chalet toilets
  • Sort your waste into the available bins
  • Be energy efficient, do not waste water and electricity
  • No entry into the marked natural zones
  • Do not disturb or feed the local fauna
  • Swimming in the lake is prohibited
  • Fire may only be made in the fire bowls
  • On departure, swims and facility must be clean.

FISHING RULES

  • 3 rod limit per person, fishing only 1 swim at any one time from designated swims
  • Micro barbed hooks only, minimum size 4
  • Minimum 0.30 mono/flouro or braided mainline to be used
  • No fixed leads, we highly recommend dropping the lead
  • Nets, mats, slings, weigh crooks and tripods are supplied on site. Please do not bring your own, they will not be permitted 
  • No unattended rods under any circumstances
  • Every angler must have their own fish care kit
  • When transferring fish from the lake to unhooking mat please do this in a weigh sling, do not lift the fish in the net
  • No sacking of fish
  • No zigs or surface fishing
  • Any fish likely to be near or over 40 lbs are not to leave the water under any circumstances. Please call the on-site bailiff anytime day or night to assist with weighing and photography
  • Anyone seen pulling for a break will be asked to leave immediately, in the event you become snagged just call the on-site bailiff 24/7
  • Bait boats are permitted.
  • Only inflatable boats, Etang du Grand Pré are permitted.
  • Leave clean the boat at the end of the week
  • Life jackets are to be worn at all times when in a boat
  • All particle, nuts and boilies are banned, only house pellet, particle and frozen boilie to be used. No shelf-life boilies
  • Strictly no natural baits, this includes maggots, casters and worms.

Any fisherman who does not respect the rules must leave the lake immediately.
